ICPA-EDOOR MATHAVU (Mother of Settlers) NATIONAL ESSAY COMPETITION

(SAR NEWS) --The Indian Catholic Press Association (ICPA) on the occasion of its 45th anniversary is conducting a national essay competition in English on "Politics of Religion or Religion of Politics" the theme of the National convention of the association to be held in Kochi on February 21, 2009. The competition is open to all postgraduate, graduate college students in the country.
First prize Rs 5,000
Second Prize Rs 3,000
Third Prize Rs 2000
Prize-winners will be provided return sleeper class railway ticket to attend the Awards function. All entries should be TYPED/PRINTED on one side of foolscap paper, should not exceed 750 words and should carry the name, signature, address, telephone numbers/e-mail ID of the participant. Each entry should be accompanied by an endorsement of the principal of the college concerned certifying the authenticity of the participant. A panel of judges will decide the winners and the ICPA will be the final authority on the selection of winners. Participants must declare that their essay is their original and unpublished.
